In this session of The Jason Loves Life Podcast, I go over the 8 steps to start a successful webComic. Most people think it is simply drawing and posting your art onto a website, but with these 8 steps you will have readers eagerly waiting for you to publish your first strip or page. These are the steps I took to launch The Madman of Magic WebComic and now I am very excited to share this strategy with you.

Not only has this software allowed me to get over 350 twitter followers on my @nichejournal profile without any work, it has allowed me to build a following of close to 5,000 on my most active account (@lovejasonlove) in just 6 months!
This software is by far the best software investment I’ve ever made, but you do have to be careful because if you use it in a bad way, or over use it, you can get your account suspended or possibly deleted. If you follow all the tutorials on the website, you will not have a problem.
The cool thing I just started experimenting with is tweet adder‘s “Thank You Message” function as a way to get more Facebook Followers.

The focus of this episode is to talk a little bit about the goals of the webcomic, introduce myself, and what I will be covering in future episodes.

Microphone is set!
I’ve had the “podcasting” page up on this blog in November of 2012 with “COMING SOON” at the top. I originally put it up there because I assumed it would motivate me to get working on putting out a podcast.
Yet here I am, 5 months later without a podcast up.
Tonight I am playing around with the equipment and figured I should try a short recording to get familiar with the software.
