A podcast on the business side of WebComics

In this episode I’m alone again (all by myself can be scary) talking about how to analytically choose your next project or to prioritize that list of projects you keep next to your desk. Then I go into tips to help you complete those projects once you get started.

After the last podcast with And He Drew (listen here) I realized that my struggle with priorities, focusing on one thing at a time, and deciding on what needs to be done first are not issues unique to me. Many artists struggle with this.

I feel confident saying the majority of creative types have this problem.

I hope you find my technique helpful, I have included a figure below that might help explain the process better that I was able to do in the podcast.

I just want you to know the ratings I gave in the podcast are different then those in the example even though I used the same projects and categories. I hope this isn’t to confusing. If you have any problems, feel free to mention it in the comments and I will clarify.

My plan is to publish more videos and do less articles. I find publishing YouTube videos and podcasts more enjoyable. At the same time I personally prefer blogs that use more video and/or audio.
Let me know if you what you think of my plan to less written article in the comment section below.

And He Drew ImageA wonderful interview with And He Drew where we talked about his 1,000 art gift challenge, the 20 day art gift challenge, choosing what projects to work on, and more…
