Things Mentioned in the Show:

My office is currently messy.

It is a little embarrassing, but mostly annoying.

It is hard to find what I want, I’m tripping over things, important items are getting lost… It is just annoying, but I have been here before. It happens once or twice a month where it becomes too much and I just need to get my act together and clean.

Office of Clutter

Why is it so messy?

wEvilThis Webcomic is such a successful combination of saccharine cuteness and diabolical crudeness that I am somehow glued to my computer screen, endlessly clicking ‘next’ until I thought that I should probably stop and write something so I could let you all know why you should be reading this.

Initially when you see these bears with their baby-cuteness, i.e. large head, huge shiny eyes and cutely colored fur with care-bear like pictographs of their monikers tattooed on their stomachs.  Like the pill capsule on Prozac bear’s tummy.

These pseudo-care bears’ names?  Prozac, Death, Lech, Evil, Tanked, Gay, Crack, Nerd, Vanity and Gimp Bear.  To somebody who hasn’t already read Bear Nuts… don’t cha just wanna? Normally I don’t find myself jumping to to hawk a Webcomic with so much lechery in it but… c’mon… its like the South Park of the Zoo world!

I just want to come out and say it.

I’m drunk!

Drinking and Blogging

Don’t judge me, I am allowed to Drink and Blog, there is no crime in that. However, if there is a lot of spelling errors and bad grammer…. Don’t you judge me.

This evening while enjoying a few alcoholic beverages to celebrate my successful surgery (if you want to see photos, let me know in the comments below) I stumbled upon an exciting article about the Simpsons.

The Truth about the Simpsons:

The reality is, the Simpsons isn’t as good as it once was. I am not sure the reason or want to argue the fact, but it isn’t.

Any show that has been on for 25 years is going to have a hard time even with some of the best writers and producers in the industry. Maybe it is because I’m older, but the show as a whole doesn’t seem as relevant and has lost its charm.

Which is sad to say because I consider Matt Groening one of my idols. Who else has been successful in both comic industry (Life in Hell & comic versions of his animated shows) and animation (Simpsons & Futurama)? No one, that’s who.

Dennis’ Video:

PuckThe funny pages and I have had a falling out in recent years.  Maybe not that recent.  I had a paper in my hands every day the last week and there was only one (just ONE!) that could be counted as actually ‘funny.’  The rest were Hagar the Horrible.  Emphasis on Horrible.  So unfunny.  That’s why I like the internet, it has funny comics!

‘Puck’ is a weekly Webcomic strip put out by ElectricGecko (real name withheld) that has been in circulation since the late 90’s; with the exception of a hiatus so ElectricGecko could pursue other interests.  He’s recently rebooted ‘Puck’ and has been enjoying a renewed success with it ever since.  And I can see why, it’s funny!
