Unsounded is engrossing, I’ve been nonstop clicking on it since I started reading. The art first attracted me, I guess I’m a sucker for mysterious cloaked men on floating hunks of earth.
Though truthfully it’s Sette that grabs the attention first. I commend the author for knowing how to combine the utter selfishness of children with the humor that this kid unwittingly evokes. I’m also a sucker for slapstick so Ashley Cope will probably get a laugh from me every time one of her characters pushes another off a cliff.
Hee Hee!
Cope is apparently just as good at the dramatic as with the lighthearted, making me hurt very much on behalf of a slave and a little blue eyed girl whose captors hint at the serious evil they plan for her. And of course I can’t wait to get back to her story arc now, don’t leave me hanging!
Unsounded is well worth a look, it will grab you (possibly bite you) as soon as you see it, so give it a try!
