We are starting a new segment here at Jason Loves Life called “Video of the Week”. The focus is on finding cool videos online and then talk about them.

Lego Star Wars Trilogy in 2 Minutes
This video is pure genius for a number of reasons. It contains great animation effects, it covers the story in a funny way, and yet doesn’t try to force humor. The fact that it lampoons a beloved American movie series has allowed it to receive over 8 million views and counting.
LESSONS TO TAKE AWAY:
- YouTube videos that are parodies of famous movies will get you a lot of views from people searching for the original and others who enjoy looking for related clips to those franchises.
- Using simple animation or video is okay as long as the story is good and it fits, but adding cool effects gives the viewers added enjoyment. In other words, “Story is King”.
- Use the Force (Star Wars nerd moment)
