There are about 3 ‘advertisements’ for Aurora before chapter one begins. They look very pretty in color but I wish they would have hinted at the substance of the comic. For me it is not enough to merely see something pretty, I need to see a preamble of the peril the girl is going to have to face.

Wormworld Saga is a digital graphic novel created by Daniel Lieske, a German author and illustrator.
I’m going to mention the web comic ‘Grrl power’ in the hopes that you’ll take a gander for yourself. What is it? It’s a comic about ‘super heroines.’ Super duper powered females doing their thing, fighting evil and kicking general bad-guy tushie while doing the things us regular gals do, like getting a date.

I was thumbing through various web comics (as much thumbing as one can do with a mouse, really) when I noticed that there was one comic that was not ‘drawn’, not in the traditional sense. A completely computer generated comic titled ‘Too Much Information’. I admit I was highly skeptical that CGI characters could pull off the affect needed to pull in a reader’s interest but they are surprisingly perfect for this comic. While you might argue that this choice leaves the characters with a somewhat ‘plastic-ey’ look they are no less emotive for it. Stylistically speaking, it’s winning me over.
